Dr. Duane F. Cumberbatch is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon with more than 15 years of experience dedicated to limb preservation, peripheral nerve surgery, and complex reconstruction. He completed specialized training at the Ilizarov Institute in Kurgan, Russia, where he refined his expertise in deformity correction and circular external fixation techniques for high-risk diabetic foot and ankle pathology, emphasizing function, mobility, and long-term limb salvage.
An entrepreneur and innovator, Dr. Cumberbatch founded SOLEMEDIX to advance regenerative therapies for lower-extremity disorders, and he leads Paradise Podiatry Nerve and Wound Care Center, a specialty practice integrating evidence-based protocols, biologics, and precision technologies to reduce complications and accelerate healing. He actively applies artificial intelligence for risk stratification, surgical planning, and streamlined clinical operations—translating data into measurable improvements in patient outcomes and efficiency.
A former athlete, he understands the central role of foot and ankle health in performance and quality of life. His commitment to global health includes medical missions to Haiti and the Dominican Republic, where he has provided wound care and limb-presevation services to underserved communities.
